Santa Fe had the game winning rally in the 9th inning scoring 2 runs utilizing
2 base hits. Melvin Mora initiated the scoring when he smashed a bases-empty
'big-fly' (his 8th of the season). Two outs later Jermaine Dye stepped in
and he ripping a solo home run (his 6th of the season). Santa Fe finished
with just 6 hits in the victory.
The win was credited to Miller(2-0) who went 3 innings allowing no runs. Jason
Isringhausen gained credit for his 16th save. David Riske(1-1) was tagged
with the loss in relief.
